Ange and Greg's Cairnwood Estate Wedding

Royal, elegant, and a whole lot of fun - Ange and Greg's Cairnwood Estate wedding was an ideal mix of it all. A grand celebration of their union, all of the couple's friends and family (including many little ones) were there to support and celebrate this special day with the bride and groom. The venue was one of the best ones that I have had the pleasure to photograph in. Ange and her family did all of the florals with the help of a family friend, and they looked sublime. From the venue and the people to the decor and the energy, everything added up to make it a beautiful wedding.

One of the best ways to meet new couples in my profession, I met Ange and Greg when I photographed one of their friend's weddings. She say the bries pictures and she connected us, and voila! They chose me as their wedding photographer. Like most of the couples I have photographed recently, these two also met online through Bumble. I love how these days, people can find their better halves through their phones!

Ange and Greg Tie The Knot at the Cairnwood Estate

On the wedding day, the bride and groom got ready at the venue. The couple had already exchanged vows in a small ceremony the day before but planned their reception the next day. Ange, who looked stunning in her Summer by Grace Loves Lace dress, was joined by her bridesmaids and a few little helpers as she got ready. It was such a beautifully decorated room with plenty of light and antiques, which gave me the chance to take some getting ready photos. The kids were so adorable and such natural models that we managed to get a few fun shots of the bride with them too. Then, it was time for Ange's first look with Greg.

Downstairs, a sharply dressed Greg was waiting for his bride, and the look on his face after seeing her was so cute! He was smiling from ear to ear, and so was she. The first look moment is definitely one of my favorite things about weddings. It's such an intimate moment between my bride and groom, and though as a photographer, I have shot this moment several times, I am inspired by the genuine love and emotions every time! This was my chance to get some couple portraits before all the wedding activities took over. Ange and Greg walked hand-in-hand, laughed and giggled, and hardly needed any posing cues from me.

I also got some fabulous photos of the couple with their bridal party. And, of course, the kids joined in. Everyone loved all the nieces and nephews running around and photobombing pictures, especially me! It made the photos look so authentic with a double dose of adorable! Along with the bride and groom, all the guests danced and dined away on some extraordinarily photogenic and delicious delicacies (including homemade chocolate chip cookies by a good friend of theirs).

With all eyes (and cameras) on them, the bride and her dad had such a sweet father-daughter dance planned. Ange later told me that this was one of her favorite moments from the day. The energy went even higher when her grandmother hit the dance floor! There was so much love (and bubbles) in the air. It was the perfect way to end the day.
